I have been involved with 4-H since the 4th grade and pretty much for as long as I can remember, since my mom works in the Houston County Extensoin office.
6th planting flowers at Houston County Middle School - 4-H project
This Charolais/Angus cross calf that I showed my very first year. He broke out very tame.....with me and mom, but not so much with anybody else.
This calf was a little less than trilled with me, but you couldn't tell from the picture. (Guess he knew he wasn't my favorite.)
Here I am with the calf that we only called 55, because his tag number was 55. I did not like him and he did not like me, until just before show. EVERYONE at the how knew 55 did not like people, especially Bill Edd, but he did ok with me, Mom, and Jesus.
This is Duke, my 2006 show calf that I raised from 3 days old after he was orphaned. I tied him out side when we had cook outs, he loved people. I even took him in the Kitchen one day to fix a bottle. Mom was not ammused!
Our county first ever grill team in the Outdoor meat cookery competition and we won 1st place. We had a John Deere theme, can you tell.
